Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there! Especially to my mom who goes above and beyond every single day for her three children. Thanks Mom for all that you do for us.

Eleven

Today my little brother is 11 years old. I still remember the day he was born. I was 14 years old, sitting lazily in my last period science class when the monitor showed up with the  little blue slip stating my father's arrival to pick me up. I instantly knew what had happened. I remember the first time I held him, the way his small body snuggled close to my heart and he peeked at me sleepily. From that moment on, I knew that my life has changed for the better.
